Pakistan will begin working this month on the protracted $10 billion Tapi gas pipeline project stretching over four Asian countries as the operating consortium awarded the project management consultant (PMC) contract to German firm ILF. The consultant is ready to conduct route survey, detailed engineering and feasibility study this month for the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (Tapi) gas pipeline, Pakistani newspapers reported.
