Brazil will start the development of its 10-year Plan for Expansion of Gas Pipelines (PEMAT) with an auction for the concession of the 11-km (7 miles) long Guapimirim-Itaborai stretch. Brazil published the draft rules earlier this month of its first public tender to build and operate a natural gas pipeline.
